The vineyard is thriving after an excellent fruit set during the recent dry weather, with the vines carrying a promising crop. While the next few months will determine the final harvest, the warm conditions have kept disease pressure low, making it an encouraging season so far. A little rain in the weeks ahead will help the grapes reach their full potential. In the winery, we're preparing to release our 2021 Rosé as stocks of the 2020 vintage come to an end. Cooler temperatures are needed for disgorging, so there may be a brief pause before the new vintage is available. Meanwhile, our Classic Cuvée and Blanc de Blancs continue to be enjoyed by customers. We're also delighted to share that our NV Blanc de Blancs achieved the highest score in Decanter's latest UK sparkling wine panel tasting, placing it among the country's top sparkling wines. It's a wonderful recognition of the care and craftsmanship that go into every bottle produced at Mountfield Winery.
