After a wet winter, it's lovely to see the vineyard bathed in spring sunshine. The vines are beginning to wake and put on new growth, and like all English wine growers, we'll be watching the forecast closely and hoping May doesn't bring any late frosts.
Simon has already been busy mowing, and the pruning is now complete — always a welcome sign that a new growing season is properly underway.
